letter from the director
As the last chapter of our 8th year comes to close, we know that another edition of Beaches Living Guide will soon be at your doorsteps. After eight years of feedback and valuable comments from our readers and community, the first thought that still comes to mind when we sign-off for printing is, “we hope that once again it will be valued and enjoyed by our readers.” This mission has kept us committed to bring you the best publication we can, after all, the Beaches Living Guide is your magazine!
Over the years Beaches Living has discovered so many stories about the neighbourhood that is close to us and the city where we live and work. We do this by publishing the history of our community, showcasing landmarks from the past and present, and uncovering interesting places and personalities you’d like to meet. We’re always looking for how we can best benefit our readers, our business owners, and our community.
We’ve continued to serve businesses, assisting with their marketing needs, from design to printing to websites, as well as sharing the best advice we have from our experience. We meet each one of you, neighbour to neighbour, every day.
In spite of a worldwide slow economy and the challenges we face, we are committed to continuing what we do. We believe that it is worthwhile, for us and for each of you.
This is the kind of passion and community spirit that keeps us all successful, together.
As we head into the celebration season and welcome 2012, a heart felt thank you goes out to the team of professionals at Beaches Living. It is their commitment of endless days, nights and weekends that make us meet each and every deadline. Many thanks to our business community who trust us and invite us to serve them. Thanks to our community who partner with us and support us at many occasions. But above all, thank you, our readers, who enjoy our stories and support our local businesses by shopping locally.
