Beaches Living Guide - Fall & Winter 2018-2019 ![]() Letter from the directorLooking back, we can say that we are very proud of our accomplishments at Beaches Living. For 15 years we've continually brought you, our readers, many fascinating community-based stories about Toronto and about the neighbourhood we live in. It's been a great journey of learning and sharing with you our findings. Your upbeat comments, feedback and acknowledgement continue to assure us that you are the right audience for the publication. You love your neighbourhood, you are curious and interested in learning about its past, present and future. It has always made us more eager to find and share the best stories for each edition - it is the fuel that keeps us always fully charged. We take such pride in every edition, from start to finish and to the next one coming along. How did it all happen? It always seems so much easier when looking at it all afterwards. 15 years represent a lot of changes, around the world, in our country, our city and in our community. Our city is in transformation, as it always has been. When we are fighting through traffic jams, road closures, construction sites, or wishing there was less noise, it's good to recognize that those actions are the inevitable result of our transformation process. Take a moment to gain some perspective, perhaps a view of the city from the top of the CN Tower, and look below to the city around you. Toronto is big, beautiful, and ever growing. And within its streets and among its citizens, it is one of the most intriguing places to live in. We hope this issue, and every issue we have published in the past 15 years, presents an exciting, ever changing, story. One day, we could look back and tell the new generation what it was like to live here. Best wishes to each of you for a strong and fulfilling finish to 2018. Let's kick off 2019 with fresh and renewed energy. From all of us at Beaches Living - 15 years connecting you and your community Hong Zhao Beaches Living Guide - Fall & Winter 2018-2019 |
