Guided Walking Tour - Leslie Street Spit: In the Fall/Winter Issue of the Beaches Living Guide, we published an article: THE LESLIE STREET SPIT - A unique Urban Wilderness, see page 27-28 in the guide or visit the online guide. This guided tour is specially designed to delight and share with you about the hidden beauty in our back yard. For those who love walking, nature, and photography come explore one of the most ecologically diverse man made environments in the city. You’ve all enjoyed the Spit during the hot summer months. This time, leave the city behind and experience the peaceful tranquility of a snow laden park during another Toronto winter. Last trip out on the spit on Dec. 17, 05, we saw over 20 different birds and other wildlift such as Snowy owl, Barreled owl, Grey horn owl, Carroty, just name a few.. Join Max Skwarna for a three hour adventure to explore the birds, animals, and natural areas of The Spit. Birders, hikers, and photographers all welcome! We will cover approximately 10 kilometers at a moderate pace. Warm clothing and hiking boots are advised as well as binoculars if you plan to bird watch. Date
and time: Sunday, January 29th at 10 am Looking ahead - What's Happening in the Beaches! Below is a list of upcoming events in
